The Tasks and Gates of Phase 2: Committing, are centered around creating the conditions for success. As with all of our phase checklists, the first task is to make a plan. Every task or gate needs to have an action plan guiding how the step will be accomplished.

On top of that, in Phase 2, we ask you to look ahead and make something of a roadmap as to how you will proceed through the phase of the CI Development System to get you firmly entrenched in Phase 6 where you will be focusing on keeping the momentum you gained in the earlier phases.

But the most pressing matter in Phase 2 is to begin allocating resources to your continuous improvement efforts.
