The Velaction Training System started out as the Lean Training System but has expanded to cover more than just that narrow slice of continuous improvement. It now can encompass any topic that will help you create a stronger set of improvement skills in yourself or in your team.

The modular system is intended to provide flexibility to both learners and trainers. While the modules build up an overall knowledge base, they are designed to be stand-alone courses, for the most part. (There is a series of kaizen modules that build on each other.)

What’s in the modules?

Modules are built around a PowerPoint presentation that we turn into a video. The intent is that leaders and trainers can use the presentation to teach their team on their own if they prefer.

Most modules also have a student guide. We also have several quizzes, exercises and other supporting materials.

The Continuous Improvement Development System

The Velaction Training System is one part of our CIDS system. While CIDS takes a broad, wholistic approach to building a business management system, VTS is a tool within CIDS that builds up skills to make the business management system viable. It is not the only method of training, but it is a versatile one.

Part of building a business management system requires being able to train your team. We prefer you use us to do your training, but there is also a lot of value in being able to train on your own.
